Wednesday 10th; Denali
Alaska Railroad train journey north to Denali Relaxing in the hot tub at journey's end
Thursday 11th; Denali
Brand new tour bus, in which we went sixty miles into the six million acre Denali             National Park, on part of the ninety mile gravel road. Friday 12th; Denali. By bus back to Anchorage. The scenery was not as photogenic as from the railroad.

Saturday 13th; Seward
Seward Highway, heading south from Anchorage. Entering the Kenai Peninsula. Moose Pass. Exit Glacier and the Resurrection River which flows from it. The face of Exit Glacier. The ice appears blue.
      It is so dense that other colours are absorbed. Exit Glacier melts to form the Resurrection River. Ice floes in the Resurrection River.
Sunday 14th; Seward

Sunday 14th; Kenai Fiords. Glacier and wildlife cruise
Cruise boat 'Greatland' at Fox Island. Old whale bones at Fox Island. A tidewater glacier melts into the fiord. Ice floes melt within 24 hours in the fiord's waters. Close to the face of the glacier. Catch of the day, from the charter fishing boats.
Monday 15th; Dinner at Seward

Tuesday 16th; Anchorage floatplane ride
The ultimate pick-up truck - a Cadillac! Refuelling the Cessna 206 before our flight. Lake Hood is the world's largest float plane base. Downtown Anchorage and the Cook Inlet. The Knik glacier melts into the sea. Rock carried in the glacier. A snow field.
Wednesday 17th; Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
